This was our second time staying at this beach townhouse and once again, it was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and close to everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The townhouse itself is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything to make you feel right at home. Patrick was incredibly responsive and kind, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We always have such a great time here and truly can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend—already looking forward to our next stay!

My husband and I stayed here with a group of couples for a long weekend. Patrick’s place was beautiful, very clean, and the beach was amazing. Patrick was also very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay again! Even for a holiday weekend, the beach wasn’t crowded. Being from Florida and used to very busy beaches, this place is special. Also was amazing to stay directly on the beach - we’ll be back!

If you're looking for a beach vacation, this place takes it to an entirely different level. The house was immaculate, featuring high-end upgrades, beautiful views from almost every room, and located on a serene island that you have to take a ferry to reach. It was just steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches we had ever seen, with clear waters and unforgettable sunsets. There is nothing else like being able to go in and out of your house all day and be on the beach without having to load everything up. The host was phenomenal, making it extremely easy to find everything we needed. The property had everything for a fun and comfortable stay, including beach toys, towels, and even the option to rent the host's golf cart to tour the island. We were even lucky enough to see a dolphin up close! If you're considering a stay around Boca Grande or Palm Island, this is an absolute must. The experience was reliable, clean, stress-free, and beautiful. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at this vacation rental. The home has everything you could need in every aspect. Our group consisted of a 6month old to a 70 yo and everyone had a great time. We loved that the pool had shade covers so we spent the mornings at the beach and the afternoons at the pool to get out of the sun. The home is next to a public beach access and we were lucky enough that that’s where they held the islands annual 4th of July party so we got to participate in a sand building contest and watch a pie eating contest. We rented the golf cart and enjoyed cruising around the island and getting ice cream. We brought our own boat and utilized the dock across the street. The host was very honest with the canal conditions. There’s 2 bridges to go under and a set of wires and you have to time it with the tide for getting in and out but it’s do able. We had a great beach vacation and would definitely come back.

Patrick’s condo was beautiful and he was a wonderful host. The condo is directly on the beach. Literally walk down the steps on to the beach. He had everything you needed, beach chairs, shade canopy, bicycles, kayaks, stand up paddle board, sand toys, you name it. The shelling and shark teeth finding was great. The unique part of the property was that they have a dock on the other intracoastal. Its a short boat ride to Stumps Pass and to get into the gulf. The condo itself was wonderful. Nicely decorated with everything you could want. The two decks overlooking the beach were great to watch the sunsets and hang out. Patrick was a great host, very responsive and proactive. We will definitely be coming back.

Wow! I’m speechless as so how amazing our family vacation was because of choosing the right AirBnB. I don’t know where to start. The location was perfect, the beach is literally at your back door. The house is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and makes you feel right at home. 4 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms was great. Patrick was an amazing host; he communicated well, gave great advice and had everything we could possibly need. The beach was spectacular, a sandbar with tidal ponds comes each day which is excellent for kids and seniors that are scared of the waves. The sunsets were breathtaking.

Sunset Beach Cottage is an amazing place to stay and Patrick was a great host. The sunsets were some of the most beautiful we've seen! If you are looking for a beautiful, tranquil place-this is it! The place was very clean and comfortable. There are ocean views from almost every room. Our experience included seeing both dolphins and manatees right in front of us! Palm Island is the best kept secret and we will definitely be back!

My family spent 5 nights here and had an amazing time. It was our first time on Palm Island and it is incredibly quiet, secluded, non-touristy, and beautiful here. Patrick’s home has a direct path onto the beach, so whereas others would have to drive up to a beach access point, we could just get out of beds, eat, and slowly trickle onto the beach. It was nice to be able to run onto his patio to rest mid-day, enjoy some bbq from his grill, then head back out onto the water. He had a huge selection of beach toys for the kids to play with on the sand beach; inflatables to ride the waves; beach chairs/umbrella; and 2 kayaks. The water is nice and warm, calm at times and other times with exciting waves. We did rent golf carts to get to the Coconuts convenience store for ice cream and to drive around the island, but I would say it’s not an absolutely necessity (but our kids loved riding them!) given Patrick’s home is directly on the beach so you don’t really need to drive anywhere to get great beach access. His home was clean, comfortable, and there were lots of condiments/seasoning in his kitchen (which is great given there’s no grocery store on the island). This place is definitely for those of you looking for more of a slower paced, non-touristy, relaxing time on the beach— though, there are still plenty of options to get off the island and do some water activities (some of the guys in our group did a jet ski and kayaking experience nearby off the island), though keep in mind it does cost about $55 round trip to drive your car on the ferry. Lastly, we did get a photographer to meet us on the island on the beach right behind Patrick’s house for family photos and that was super fun too. Overall, highly recommend!
